Crisp Fail

So the Fiance loves root vegetables. He also loves crisps (or chips to everywhere outside of the UK) And seeing as we were seemingly drowning in beetroot, carrots and sweet potatoes, I decided to try my hand at making baked crisps.



Now, my first mistake was attempting to do this when super exhausted and teetering on the edge of a flare up.



My second mistake was massively underestimating how long the whole process would take.

The end result was a chewy nightmare that was so salty they made my teeth hurt.



I was following this recipe by Rachel Ray. I don't know what happened, whether it was something to do with the recipe or if I was just completely in the wrong state of mind to do this. Either way it was an unmitigated disaster.



Still, the photos look good!
